BIG FOOT GOLD Myccorrhizae
1 oz. (6 tsp.)
This formula of beneficial fungi and bacteria is a powerful combination designed to enhance plant health by maximizing nutrient uptake and improving soil structure. It can be applied directly to the soil or used to drench the soil around plant root zones
- Improves Nutrient Uptake: The mycorrhizal fungi form a symbiotic relationship with plant roots, extending the root system and enhancing the absorption of vital nutrients like phosphorus, nitrogen, and potassium.
- Enhances Soil Structure: Beneficial microbes break down organic matter, helping to aerate the soil and promote the creation of humus, which improves soil texture, water retention, and drainage.
- Increases Resistance to Stress: Plants inoculated with mycorrhizae and beneficial microbes tend to be more resilient to environmental stresses, such as drought and poor soil conditions.
- Promotes healthy Root Systems: The microbial activity promotes stronger, healthier root development, leading to more vigorous plant growth and higher yields.
- Natural Disease Resistance: Certain beneficial microbes help suppress harmful pathogens in the soil, reducing the occurrence of root rot, fungal infections, and other soil-borne diseases.
Ratios:
- Direct application: about 1 TSP per small plant and 1 TBSP per large plant.
- Soil Drench: 1 TSP per 2 gallons of water. Makes up to 12 gallons.
For Gardens and Raised Beds: Mix the recommended amount of product into the soil around your plants or add it directly to the planting hole when transplanting. For best results, apply at the root zone where the fungi and microbes can easily interact with the roots.
For Potting Mix: Blend the product into your potting soil before planting. This will ensure that the beneficial microbes establish quickly and provide ongoing support for your plants.
For Existing Plants: Sprinkle the product directly onto the soil surface and water in to help the microbes penetrate the root zone. It can also be mixed with compost or other soil amendments for enhanced soil enrichment.
